Does TradingTether give trading signals or recommendations?
No. TradingTether is strictly a behavioral accountability platform. It does not provide financial advice, recommend securities, or direct any trading decisions. Our AI coach is constrained to psychological accountability and risk management habit discussions only.
What does the Automated Trade Auditor actually do?
You upload a screenshot of your trading chart. Our Vision AI extracts the visible entry/exit points and compares them against the personal risk rules you defined in your profile — for example, maximum loss per trade or no-oversize-position rules. It flags behavioral rule violations. It does not evaluate whether the trade was a good or bad idea.
Is my trading data safe?
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use Supabase with row-level security so your data is isolated to your account. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
Which brokers does TradingTether support?
TradingTether currently supports Alpaca Markets for automated trade data import. Additional broker integrations are on our roadmap. To connect your Alpaca account, go to Settings > Integrations in your dashboard and follow the OAuth authorization flow. TradingTether requests read-only access to your trade history and positions — we never request withdrawal permissions or trade execution access. Your credentials are never stored by TradingTether; all access is handled through Alpaca's official OAuth tokens, which you can revoke at any time from your Alpaca account settings.
